Holmbury Ltd was established in 1982 by David French who pioneered the first flat faced couplings in the market. The company quickly became recognized for its high quality, reliable products. The original Holmbury flat face coupling design was launched in 1984 and soon became the preferred quick release coupling solution for JCB, Caterpillar and other heavy equipment OEMs. The flat face design with it’s high performance makes it a versatile problem solver for a variety of applications. When the International Standards Organization (ISO) convened to establish the specifications for flat face couplings, the Holmbury design was adopted to become the benchmark for ISO 16028. This globally recognised design remains largely unchanged to this day and is a testimony to the original Holmbury design.

Today Holmbury products have recognition across the globe. Providing hydraulic quick release couplings, valves and other hydraulic components to the construction, agricultural and many other key industries. In 2003, driven by the need to respond rapidly to worldwide customer demand, Holmbury established its North American operation Holmbury Inc, based in Eastlake, Ohio.
In 2021 Holmbury Ltd open a European warehouse facility in the Netherlands to better serve it’s customers post Brexit. Holmbury can truly offer our customers global reach whilst supporting the company’s continual growth.
